The Dutch are known for their pretty modern monarchy. Willem Alexander, who is the first male monarch for 123 years, is our current king. The Dutch celebrate the birthday of their King every year on the 27th of April with massive parties, concerts and street markets. Fun fact: the entire country wears orange that day, the colour of the Royal Family. Kingsday is considered to be the biggest birthday party on Earth: a day to celebrate the king within ourselves.
