Willkommen im The Upside Down Amsterdam, dem coolsten Erlebnismuseum der Stadt! Mit über 25 einzigartigen und farbenfrohen Räumen und Settings ist es der perfekte Ort, um tolle Fotos zu schießen, etwas über die Niederlande und Amsterdam zu lernen und Ihrer Kreativität freien Lauf zu lassen.
Es ist, als hätten wir ein Museum, einen Vergnügungspark, einen Nachtclub, ein paar perfekte Kulissen und einige Zauberpilze in einen riesigen Mixer geworfen, um das ultimative niederländische Erlebnis zu schaffen. Mit dem Thema „The New Dutch“ möchten wir Ihnen unsere zeitgenössische niederländische Kultur auf unterhaltsame Weise zeigen.
Normalerweise sehen die Leute nur die traditionellen Dinge wie Windmühlen und Holzschuhe. Langweilig! Wir machen es anders, indem wir alles präsentieren, worauf wir stolz sind, wie Vielfalt, Inklusivität und unsere fantastische Tanzmusikszene.

In unserem immersiven Erlebnis finden Sie Räume mit unterschiedlichen Themen und Stilen. Werden Sie Teil eines niederländischen Mondrian-Kunstwerks oder steigen Sie in einen Privatjet. Springen Sie in unser Bällebad mit LED-Beleuchtung oder treffen Sie die neuen niederländischen Royals in einer fobung.

How do I get tickets for The Upside Down Amsterdam?
You can book your tickets online, via this link!
I would like to change the date or time of my tickets, is that possible?
That's possible, you can easily change them yourself via our ticket support.
Do I need to book my tickets in advance?
We advise you to book your tickets in advance online, so you can secure your spot!
Is it possible to cancel my ticket?
We have a no refund policy, but you can easily reschedule your visit via our ticket support.
How much time in advance before our time slot starts do we need to be there?
Please make sure that you’re arriving at least 5 minutes before your time slot starts.
How long can I stay in the experience?
You can take all the time you need! On average, people spend 1,5 hour in the experience.
Do I get a discount at The Upside Down Amsterdam with my CJP Pass?
With a CJP Pass you receive a 15% discount on your entrance ticket! We also offer a special rate for children aged 3-11 years old. Prices start from €17.95. And do you have an IAmsterdam city card (tourist card)? Then you receive a 25% discount. We ask you to bring this pass with you, it will be asked for at the entrance.
I didn’t receive my photos, what can I do?
We’re sorry to hear you haven’t received them. You can check them here. Fill in your ticket number starting with 77… you can find it on your ticket. If you are still experiencing any issues please contact us on hello.amsterdam@the-upsidedown.com.
Can I visit The Upside Down on Museumnacht Amsterdam?
Unfortunately, we are not (yet) participating in Museumnacht Amsterdam at this time. Luckily, we are open all year round to welcome you ;-)

Can I organize an event at The Upside Down Amsterdam?
For events below 200 people, we’d love to refer you to our sister venue The All Out, right next to our experience. Do you want to organize a big event with more than 200 people? Then you can contact the Upside Down! Please check out our event page for more info.

How can I get to The Upside Down? Is there a car park?
There is a parking garage under our museum with plenty of parking spaces (Flowparking, Gelrestraat 2. The entrance to The Upside Down Amsterdam is on the other side of the building). When you park here, you receive a 15% discount on parking fees. Let our colleagues know that you are parked here. More information: click here.
Coming by train? Get off at RAI Station. From there it's about a 7-minute walk.
Coming by metro/tram? Get off at Europaplein stop. From there it's about a 2-minute walk.

Yes, we are a wheelchair-friendly location. We have an elevator and almost all rooms are accessible. Our colleagues are ready to help you where necessary! If you would like to know more, you can always send us an email.
We have free lockers for you to use in our experience. If you have some bigger luggage, we can store it in the back. For both, use at their own risk.
We love dogs, but unfortunately they are not allowed in our experience.
