How is The Upside Down responding to the Coronavirus?
We take your health and safety seriously and therefore we have a set of measures to make sure everyone can have a safe visit to our venue. Click here to about them.
Do we have a parking garage?
Beneath our building, there is a parking garage with plenty of parking spots available if you are coming by car. When you show your parking card at the check-in, you'll receive another barcode that will give you a 15% discount on your parking costs! Which stop to use for public transport?
Take stop Europaplein for train, metro and bus to arrive across the door of our entrance. We are located right across the RAI convention centre.
What should I bring?
Come as you are, bring your phone and/or your camera and a good mood. If you have more stuff, you can store it in our lockers at the entrance.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
No, we only sell tickets online. Click ‘GET TICKETS’ to see which tickets are still available.
Can I give my ticket to someone else?
No, tickets are personal. If you need help, just contact us at: hello@the-upsidedown.com
What time do I need to arrive for my timed ticket?
Due to corona measures, please arrive earliest 15 minutes before the time of your reservation, otherwise you have to wait outside our venue.
Anything special I need to know about checking in?
When you arrive, go to check-in first. That way we personalize all your tickets and everyone can make photo’s and receive their personal photo’s directly from our perfectly tuned camera’s.
How long does it usually take to go through the upside down?
Normally the whole tour will take you 1-1,5 hours.
Is the exhibit self-guided?
Yes, you can visit the experience completely by yourself. We have staff available to help you to get the most out of your experience though.
Is The Upside Down ADA friendly?
Yes, The Upside Down is disability friendly - you can bring a wheelchair. Want to know more, contact us at: hello@the-upsidedown.com
Is The Upside Down appropriate for all ages?
Yes, but if you are under the age of 13 you have to be accompanied by an adult. One adult can accompany 2 kids.
Can I bring food and drinks to the upside down?
No you can’t, we can treat you with our delicious food and drinks in our instagrammable café at the entrance. Inside the venue you cannot bring any food and drinks though.
Are there any bathrooms?
Yes, we have plenty of bathrooms next to the café at the ground floor.
What if I've lost something in an exhibit?
Ask our staff directly, or contact us at hello@the-upsidedown.com
Are there any rules about taking photos?
No! Take all the pics you want. But don’t shoot people you don’t know. If you want to shoot professionally, contact us at hello@the-upsidedown.com , because we only allow professional photography at certain conditions.
What does The Upside Down do for the community?
We actively support Het Vergeten Kind foundation (‘Forgotten Children’). The foundation supports children that don’t get the opportunity to grow up like every child deserves. Are there discounts for schools and students?
No there are no discounts for schools and students. Check out our ticket reservation page and you will see the prices per time directly.
Can I book a group tour or an event?
You can do it directly in our ticket reservation page and if you need assistance or have any questions, contact us at hello@the-upsidedown.com
Can I bring my pet?
No although we love pets,we don’t allow them in the experience.
Do I need to bring my own selfie stick?
Bring everyting you want to bring to create the coolest shots, or use our pre-installed professional camera’
What if the photos from my visit aren't emailed to me?
Contact us at hello@the-upsidedown.com and we will retrieve them for you.
Do you have kids rates?
Kids 0-2 years old can come for free. From 3-11 years we have a discounted rate for starting times between 12-19 hours on Wednesday and 10-12 hrs on Saturday and Sunday. Age 12 and up pay the regular ticket price.
Can I cancel or reschedule my tickets?
Tickets cannot be refunded, but we can change the time and date for you. Just send send us an app at +31850659225 or email to hello@the-upsidedown.com.
